The left-handed opener played an incredible knock of 104* off just 60 balls, studded with 9 fours and 7 sixes, to help the Royals chase down the target of 180 runs inside 19 overs against Mumbai.

After the match, Mumbai Indians (MI) opener and Indian skipper Rohit congratulated Yashasvi for his record-breaking century and even embraced him to show he was happy for him.

This moment was really loved by the fans, as the happiness and shine on the 22-year-old’s face were visible, showing how he needed such innings after a poor start to the season, as he is aiming to seal a spot in India’s squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and West Indies.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals (RR) shared a clip on their X handle (formerly known as Twitter), where Yashasvi Jaiswal can be seen talking with Rohit Sharma after the MI vs RR IPL 2024 clash in Jaipur. However, the video didn’t reveal much detail about their conversation but hinted it was about the match.

They were talking about the match and the RR opener’s century, and suddenly Yashasvi can be heard saying, “Match Jitna Important Hain, Bus... Aur Kuchh Bhi Nahi Chahiye. (Winning the match is important; nothing else is needed.” RR captioned the clip: ‘JaisBall mentality. 👊😁’

Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal credited Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for his stunning comeback as the Indian stars were helping him through the tough time in the ongoing IPL 2024. He also thanked RR coach Kumar Sangakkara and the skipper Sanju Samson for their support.

Jaiswal was quoted as saying by the IPL website: “It's incredible and I am enjoying it. Initially, it was tough for me but that's how cricket is. I guess you have to go through ups and downs and learn. I want to thank all my seniors Virat bhaiya and Rohit bhaiya and especially Sanga sir and Sanju bhai, the way they have been talking to me.

It's incredible to go through these phases and still enjoy the game. It is important the effort that I have been putting in my practice sessions. In my mind I want to play with good intent and help my team.”
