Matches Are Made In Heaven: Shahid Afridi Confirms His Elder Daughter's Impending Marriage Against Shaheen Shah Afridi

Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has revealed his eldest daughter Aqsa Afridi will be exchanging wedding vows with talented left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi.
There have been reports in the media in the past few days about Shaheen Shah Afridi getting married to Shahid Afridi’s daughter.
Shahid Afridi is blessed with five daughters- Aqsa, Ansha, Ajwa, Asmara, and Arwa.
Afridi, on Sunday, took to Twitter to confirm the reports. Afridi, in his Tweet, said that Shaheen Shah Afridi’s family has approached his family for their son’s marriage with his elder daughter.
Afridi said both families are in touch, adding that his prayers are with Shaheen for his continued success in the future.
“Shaheen’s family approached my family for my daughter. Both families are in touch, matches are made in heaven, if Allah wills this match will be made too. My prayers are with Shaheen for his continued success on and off the field,” Shahid Afridi said in his tweet.

Shahid Afridi, who retired from international cricket after the 2016 T20 World Cup, recently featured in the Pakistan Super League alongside Shaheen Shah Afridi.
The T20 League, however, has now been postponed due to an increased number of Covid cases.
Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi, who represented Pakistan in the 2018 T20 World Cup, has impinged himself as the senior sides’ spearhead since making his debut three years ago.
Shaheen has represented Pakistan in 15 Tests, 22 ODIs, and 21 T20Is, claiming 48, 45, and 24 wickets respectively.
