The fans were left stunned on Saturday (August 12) due to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The Bengaluru-based outfit’s account on Twitter/X vanished out of the blue this morning.
The fans were just clueless as one of the most followed IPL teams’ social media page vanished without any explanation. And it did not take long for the fans to come up with wild conspiracy theories to explain the unexpected turn of events related to the RCB Twitter account. With no official explanation available on the issue, the fans decided to find it out on their own.
The last post made by the franchise was on August 11 when they posted a photo of their captain Faf du Plessis training in the nets. The account was also active until last night before the fans found out that it was no longer available on the social media platform.

Well, before the fans could come up with more explanations, the RCB Twitter account was restored. The franchise, however, is yet to reveal the reason behind the disappearance. RCB continue to have a strong presence on social media although they are yet to win the IPL.
While the franchise has done well in recent seasons, they have still not managed to win the title. The three-time finalists made it to the playoffs three times in a row from 2020 to 2022 before finishing at the sixth spot in IPL 2023. They have not made it to the final of the tournament since 2016.
And ahead of the next season of the tournament, RCB have already changed their head coach. After sacking Sanjay Bangar, they have appointed Andy Flower as the next head coach.
