Deepak Hooda sliced the ball off the outside half of the bat. The ball went towards the backward point, where Nehal Wadhera was stationed. It seemed to be going over him but he leapt up and hung into it with both hands.

Nehal Wadhera fell on his back and injured himself. He looked in immense pain but thankfully it wasn't serious. Here's the video:

Nehal Wadhera to play a crucial role for his team with bat against LSG

Nehal Wadhera will be crucial for his team with the bat in the chase. With Tilak Varma not being there, he will be having an added responsibility in the middle over. The left-hander didn't get a chance in the early games of the tournament. But when he got an opportunity, he set the stage on fire.

Nehal Wadhera has looked in the decent touch in the ongoing Indian Premier League. The batter has bailed the Mumbai Indians out of trouble in a few games. With the team playing the last match of the league at their home ground in Wankhede, he would be hoping to end the season on high.

Mumbai Indians had a torrid outing in the IPL 2024. They looked clueless throughout the entire tournament. They have managed just 4 wins from the 13 games and were the first team to be eliminated from the tournament. They would be keen to win the last game and end on high.
