Finn Allen’s bizarre run out in the Major League Cricket (MLC) match four between San Francisco Unicorns and Seattle Orcas was the turning point in the game. The Orcas finally won the game as the Nunicorns were bowled out for 142 chasing 178 to win.
Seattle Orcas won the toss and opt to bat first in the match. Their middle order fired with Heinrich Klaasen top-scoring with 53 off 31 balls. Nauman Anwar (30. Matthew Wade and Finn Allen scored 28 each as they added a 43-run stand inside four overs to give the San Francisco Unicorns a brilliant start to their chase. However, Finn Allen’s run-out change the course of the game in the Seattle Orcas’ favor.

It was a schoolboy error from the Kiwi opener who was trying to amble across for a single and was caught off guard. In the end, it was a bizarre dismissal and a perfect example of a lapse of concentration from a top international player.
Seattle Orcas Won By 35 Runs Against San Francisco Unicorns In Match 4 Of MLC 2023
The Unicorns in the end were bowled out for 142 as the Orcas won the match by 35 runs. Gannon the medium pacer took 4/23 and played his part in his team’s victory. Shadab Khan top-scored with 37 and Matthew Wade scored 28. All the batters got starts but failed to convert it into a big score that was needed.
After the fourth match in MLC 2023, Seattle Orcas are topping the table with two wins from two games. Teas Super Kings and San Francisco Unicornds have won a game each. MI New York, Los Angeles Freedom, and Los Angeles Knight Riders lost their respective opening games. The next game is between the Knight Riders and MI New York on Sunday, July 16 in Dallas.
