As a part of the hybrid model for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the India National Cricket Team were asked to play their games at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. This was because they didn't accept traveling to Pakistan, and hence, their games were kept at the one venue in UAE.

"India, a strong side, has all their bases covered. The pitch will be slow; with some turn. Will be an interesting contest as we, too, have our bases covered for any situation." said Glenn Phillips
