Since the new management came over in April, Michael Vaughan believes there has been a tremendous turnaround, and he can’t recall an England team eight-month stretch that was better.

In simple words, they have won the T20 World Cup and nine out of ten Test matches. In Test cricket, they have defeated New Zealand, the current world champions, India, who outperformed them the year before, South Africa after a comeback, and now Pakistan, where it is extremely difficult to capture 20 wickets.

Because of the aggressive style they performed, they didn’t simply accomplish that; they completely outplayed them. They have generated enthusiasm and are playing Test cricket in a way that has never been done before. It appears to be a gang of boys playing in the street.

On Tuesday, December 20, at the National Stadium in Karachi, the third and final Test of the series was won by England by an impressive eight-wicket margin against Pakistan. This is the first time a team has completely dominated Pakistan during a home Test series.

For the visitors, Day 4 was really a formality because the Test had already been decided the day before. Ben Duckett (82*) and Ben Stokes (35*) helped the visitors cross the finish line in under an hour on Tuesday with 55 runs required, capping off a successful series.
