PAK vs NZ: PCB Announces New Schedule For New Zealand Tour Of Pakistan 2022-23

On Tuesday, December 13, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the new schedule for the first leg of the New Zealand tour of Pakistan 2022-23.

Initially, the New Zealand tour of Pakistan 2022-23 was set to commence on December 27, but the PCB and NZC have agreed to bring forward the tour by a day. Now, the tour of the BlackCaps to Pakistan is all set to get underway on December 26.

“Pakistan Cricket Board and New Zealand Cricket have mutually agreed to bring forward the tour of New Zealand men’s side to Pakistan by a day,” PCB said in an official media release on Tuesday, December 13.

New Zealand To Play Two Tests & Three ODIs In Pakistan In December-January

The BlackCaps and the Men In Green are all set to lock horns in a two-match Test series, which will form part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship cycle, and a three-match ODI series, which will be a part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League fixtures.

The first Test of the two-match series will be played in Karachi from December 26-30 and the second Test will be played in Multan from January 3-7. The three ODI matches will be played on January 10, 12 and 14 in Karachi.

Also, the second leg of the New Zealand tour of Pakistan will be played from April 13 to May 7 and it will consist of a five-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series.

First Test – 26-30 December at National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi

Second Test – 3-7 January at Multan Cricket Stadium

First ODI – 10 January at National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi

Second ODI – 12 January at National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi

Third ODI – 14 January at National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi
