After playing against New Zealand and Ireland, Pakistan is now playing their third T20I series ahead of the T20 World CupThey take on England in a four-match series ahead of the T20 World Cup starting next month.

The first T20I will be played on May 22 and the series ends on May 30. The two teams will have to make a quick turnaround heading into the T20 World Cup. Pakistan and England were the finalists of the T20 World Cup 2022.

Now it is only fair that the two teams get some match practice ahead of the mega event. Pakistan is perhaps the only major team not to have announced their squad yet for the World Cup and will need to do it before this series ends.

Babar Azam is back as the Pakistan captain. He led the side against New Zealand which ended 2-2 and won the series against Ireland 2-1. They now have a much tougher job at hand against England in their own backyard as well.

Pakistan have named an 18-member squad with Hasan Ali back in the side.  Haris Rauf and Azam Khan who missed the T20I series against New Zealand recently are also back in the side. Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim who came back to play for the T20 World Cup are also a part of this squad.
