Pathum Nissanka goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Pathum Nissanka has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. The Sri Lanka opener is yet to make his debut in the IPL.

Even though the right-handed batsman has not earned any IPL contract so far, he has been a regular in Sri Lanka's white-ball teams. In international cricket, Nissanka has played 59 T20Is and scored 1593 runs with the help of 13 fifties.

He has also represented Sri Lanka in 13 Tests and 61 ODIs. In Tests, Nissanka has scored 784 runs with the help of 2 centuries and 6 fifties while in the ODIs, he has scored 2422 runs including 6 centuries and 15 fifties.

Overall, Pathum has played 125 T20s and scored 3187 runs with the help of 1 century and 23 half-centuries. A reliable top-order batsman, the Sri Lanka star will be hoping to get a chance to showcase his talent in the IPL.
