Speaking to ESPNCricinfo, he said: “The guy that has impressed me the most is Jitesh Sharma. It would be great if he ends up playing for India. India being so top-heavy, imagine having a wicketkeeper who can bat like him down the order. That’s a real plus. I think he has been the player to look out for.

PBKS vs DC: Jitesh Sharma to play a vital role for PBKS in their qualification for playoffs 

Punjab Kings are very much in contention for the playoffs. They need to win their last two games and then it’ll make their case very strong for the playoffs as it’ll take them to 16 points. 

They are next slated to play Delhi Capitals (DC) on Wednesday (17th May) and then Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Friday (19th May). Jitesh Sharma is expected to play a vital role for the team in both games. It’s fair to say that if he clicks in both games, PBKS will have a strong chance.
