'Ravindra Jadeja is India's worst T20I player after MS Dhoni' - All-rounder attacked by fans after batting failure in T20 World Cup

Fans on Twitter reacted after Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja displayed another torrid outing with bat in the T20I cricket. The southpaw bagged failure in the ongoing game against Afghanistan in the T20 World Cup 2024.

India National Cricket Team and Afghanistan National Cricket Team are crossing swords with each other in their first game of the Super 8 stage. The match between the two Asian heavyweights is underway at the at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on Thursday (20th June).

After India lost quick wickets during the fag end of the innings, the onus was on Ravindra Jadeja to finish the innings on high for his team. But in what was another poor outing, he failed to deliver goods for his team with the bat down the order and made things hard for them.

Ravindra Jadeja, who was promoted ahead of Axar Patel, has been under a lot of scanner for his performances in the T20Is. He had a golden opportunity to silence his critics but he couldn't as he bagged another low score and perished for just 7 runs against Afghanistan.

Ravindra Jadeja fell to Fazalhaq Farooqi in the 19th over when the pacer bowled a slower bouncer that was very high. Had the all-rounder left the ball, it would've been wide but the batter chased the ball and mistimed it to short third. He went after scoring 7 runs off 4 balls.

Ravindra Jadeja's number in T20Is are worrying sign for any batter. He has scored just 487 runs in 70 games at an underwhelming strike rate of 125 and a poor average of 21. There are even calls related to him getting dropped from the team and him not performing hasn't done any good to him.
