Former Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra has a piece of nice advice for Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore, who has been going great in the IPL 2021 tournament with back-to-back victories. Nehra said that Royal Challengers Bangalore should first confirm their play-off qualification and try to finish in the top two. The Virat Kohli and co. have been unbeaten in IPL 2021 so far, with 4 victories in 4 games.

The Virat Kohli-led side then won against Kolkata Knight Riders by 38 runs. In their previous match in IPL 2021, RCB defeated Rajasthan Royals by 10 wickets. RCB hold the top spot in the IPL 2021 points table with 8 points.
RCB Led By Virat Kohli Should Not Limit Themselves: Ashish Nehra
In a conversation with Cricbuzz, former India pacer Ashish Nehra said that RCB should not limit themselves and try to finish in the top 2 in the points table.
“Virat Kohli, as a skipper, never take things lightly. The way they have started their campaign and won four in four, they shouldn’t limit themselves. I remember when I was in Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) and when we went to South Africa in 2009.
“We experimented with a few things towards the end of the league phase as we had already won around 10 out of 12 games. So first, they should confirm their play-off qualification and try to finish in the top 2,” Ashish Nehra said.
Nehra also said that RCB should keep their valuable players in their core group during the tournament.
“RCB couldn’t have got a better start than this. Moreover, they have found several valuable players –other than Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers – in Devdutt Padikkal, Mohammed Siraj, Chahal and Washington Sundar.
“They should keep them in their core group. And this team has got the potential that we have seen in previous editions. The way they took off this season, let’s hope that they can end things in a similar way,” Ashish Nehra further said.
Against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021 encounter, Royal Challengers Bangalore showed a spectacular performance. Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel took 3 wickets each as Rajasthan Royals scored 177-9 batting first.
Later, RCB openers Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal rocked with an opening stand of 181 runs. Virat scored an unbeaten 72 while Padikkal smashed an unbeaten 101-run knock to clinch the victory by 10 wickets.
