Ruturaj Gaikwad, the scintillating right-handed batter has taken Vijay Hazare Trophy by storm. The batter has struck 7 centuries in the tournament and has looked quite unstoppable. It seems as if he has a clear game plan against the opposition team.
He has taken Maharashtra to their maiden Vijay Hazare Final. The 25-year-old batter is making sure that the selectors don’t ignore him for the upcoming Series against Sri Lanka & New Zealand. The batter has looked in sublime touch and has etched his name in the records of List A by smashing 43 runs in a single over.

Ruturaj Gaikwad was seen interacting with Sportstar and was asked about Shiva Singh who got hit for 7 sixes. “He must have been understandably dejected but all I would like to remind him is to remember Stuart Broad went for six sixes in an over (in the 2007 World Twenty20) and has had an outstanding career, so there’s a lesson in it for every bowler.” said Ruturaj Gaikwad.
“I was just 50 to 60 percent fit, so I decided against risking myself. Once our qualification was almost assured, I wanted to get to full fitness to be back at my best and set an example for the teammates.” he added.
