Indian red-ball captain Virat Kohli missed out on the second Test of the three-match Test series against South Africa due to upper back spasm and KL Rahul was given the responsibility to lead the team.
India lost the match by 7 wickets and now the series is levelled at 1-1 and the series decider will be played in Cape Town from January 11-15 and head coach Rahul Dravid has said that Kohli will be fit by the time of the last match.
“Virat Kohli should be fine from all accounts, he should be fine. He has had the opportunity to run around a little bit, he has had the opportunity to test it a little bit. Hopefully with a couple of net sessions in Cape Town, he should be good to go. Everything I am hearing and just having a chat with him, he should be good to go in four days time,” said Dravid during a virtual press conference.
