Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh dropped a yellow heart on the Chennai Super Kings’ post for Indian captain after he was removed from the Mumbai Indians captaincy. The Munbai-based franchise on Friday (15th December) shook the entire cricket fraternity with their announcement.

Mumbai Indians through a social media post appointed Hardik Pandya as the captain of the team in IPL, citing the transition process. This came as a surprise because Rohit Sharma has been captaining the team for the last decade and did a staggering job as a leader of the team.

Rohit Sharma’s removal as the captain of the team didn’t go well with many fans. Apart from that various cricketers and franchises paid tribute to the senior Indian opener for his legacy as a captain and hailed his staggering job as a leader of the team.

Mumbai Indians’ rival  Chennai Super Kings also posted a heartfelt video and message for Rohit Sharma and highlighted the intense battles that he was involved with their skipper MS Dhoni over the last few years.

They posted the video with the caption: “2013 ➡️ 2023 : A decade of spirited challenge!  Much respect, Rohit!”
