Gill has looked in red-hot form in the ongoing ODI series against England. Ahead of the England ODIs, questions were raised over his place in the team, and the youngster made sure to shut down his critics.

In the first game, he played a match-winning knock and then followed it up with yet another half-century in the match. Gill saved his best for the last as he smashed a spectacular ton at the Narendra Modi Stadium, which is his IPL home ground.

The right-handed batter looked focused from the very start and didn't let the early dismissal of Rohit Sharma break his concentration.

He completed his fifty off 51 balls and then accelerated to reach the triple-figure mark of just 95 balls. Gill was delighted after hitting a ton and he brought out his trademark celebration.

Gill was eventually dismissed by Adil Rashid in the 35th over after scoring 112 runs off 102 balls, with 14 fours and 3 sixes.
