SRH Full Squad, Team List, Players List After IPL 2024 Auction

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) had a remaining purse of 34 crores, the most among all the teams heading into the IPL 2024 auction. They retained 19 players. joint-most along with CSK and LSG. They needed to fill up six slots including three overseas players.

SRH, the 2016 champions, finished last on the points table losing 10 out of the 14 matches. They will be led by Aiden Markram who leads Sunrisers Easterncape as well in the SA20.

The SRH management did well to retain the best of their core. Heinrich Klaasen, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Fazalhaq Farooqi,. Rahul Tripathi, and Abbhishek Sharma all from the part of the core and hence were retained.

The side has plenty of new players who are waiting to get an opportunity at the highest level. Despite Mayank Agarwal not performing consistently last season, the Indian batter was retained by the franchise.

Bhuvi is the only experienced Indian pacer. Umran Malik and T Natarajan were also retained but were not amongst the wickets last season. They need a good all-rounder and hence the likes of Daryl Mitchell or Rachin Ravindra can be their go-to options.

Harry Brook was the stand-out name in the list of their released players. SRH invested 13.25 which was nine times his base price but released him after just one season. Among the other released players are Adil Rashid and Akeil Hosein who can be targeted by other franchises.

When SRH has done well in the IPL, Bhuvi was at the forefront with the ball and the likes of David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan stepped up with the bat. The franchise has performed well below par in the last few seasons and needs to rope in impact players who can perform for the team when needed.
