Suryakumar Yadav dropped Kuldeep Yadav out of personal grudge!! Pakistan star makes explosive claim

"Gautam Gambhir is not using his full resources" - Ahmed Shehzad

The Indian lineup has been undergoing some awkward changes, despite having entered the World Cup Super-8s. Gautam Gambhir dropped Axar Patel, the veteran all-rounder, from the game against South Africa, just because Washington Sundar played the last game they won at the same venue where the South Africa match was scheduled.

The gamble did not play well for the Indian head coach, as Sundar failed to produce anything with the ball and was a total flop with the bat in the middle order. Just to mention, Axar Patel was India's second-highest scorer behind Virat Kohli when India played the final against South Africa in 2024.

The former Pakistani batter has also claimed that Gambhir is not making use of the full resources he has under his wing. "Gautam Gambhir is not playing his sources well. "Kuldeep Yadav is your match-winner. I don't know why he is out of the team," remarked Shehzad on a Pakistani show.

Citing the absence of the expert trickster Kuldeep Yadav from the Indian team, the Pakistani batter pointed out an incident between Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian captain and the bowler.

Though he claimed it to be the match before the South Africa game, he seemingly spoke about the match against Pakistan when he talked of a disagreement between the Indian captain and his bowler. That remains the only game Kuldeep has played in this World Cup.

"If you had witnessed the match before the previous game, Kuldeep argued with Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar Yadav had then pushed him away and shown dissent against him. People have claimed that maybe he has been dropped due to some recent disagreement with the Indian captain," Shahzad pointed out.

"He did not think of the country but rather placed his personal grudge over all; otherwise, Kuldeep would not have been dropped, especially with the variation he brings alongside him," he made vile accusations against the Indian skipper.

India's plans with Kuldeep Yadav have not landed on the right note for any cricket expert as well. People had expected him to be a part of the XI, especially with the World Cup being played on the spin-friendly tracks of the subcontinent.

Kuldeep Yadav is India's most experienced spinner in recent times and was a part of the World Cup-winning team in the Caribbean. He picked up 10 wickets from the 5 matches he played in that World Cup, which also included the final match against South Africa.
