T20 World Cup 2024: Watch - India's World Cup jersey unveiled in a grand Rohit Sharma-featured video

Team India have launched their jersey for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. The marquee event is scheduled to be played from June 1 to 29 in the United States of America and the Caribbean.

India are in Group A along with arch-rivals Pakistan, co-hosts USA, Ireland, and Canada. The Men in Blue will play all of their group games in the USA. Their first three games will take place in New York while the last group game will be played in Lauderhilḷ.

With less than a month remaining before the highly-anticipated T20 World Cup 2024 gets underway, India have unveiled the jersey for the competition. As usual, the primary color of the jersey is blue while the sleeves are of saffron colour. There are also the traditional white Adidas stripes on the shoulder. For the ODI World Cup last year, India's jersey had the tri-color stripes on the shoulder.

The jersey also had the name of the sponsor 'Dream11' at the front. However, it will be removed for the World Cup as the ICC rule does not allow the teams to have the name of any sponsors on the jersey during an ICC competition.

Captain Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja were featured in the video of the jersey unveiling. The video has been shot at the picturesque HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.

Meanwhile, India's squad for the T20 World Cup was announced last week. Rohit Sharma will lead the side while Hardik Pandya has been named as his deputy. India will open their campaign on June 5 against Ireland before taking on Pakistan on June 9. On June 12, they will play against the USA before locking horns against Canada on June 15.
