There Is No Rivalry With Gautam Gambhir Or Ishant Sharma - Former Pakistan Player Kamran Akmal

Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal asserted that Gautam Gambhir and Ishant Sharma are good friends with him and their rivalry from the past has been left behind.
In an interview with Legends League Cricket, Akmal stated that their heated on-field discussion happened due to a misunderstanding. Nevertheless, they have made up and are good friends now.

“Things heated up a bit with Gautam Gambhir during the 2010 Asia Cup but it was all due to misunderstandings. He is a very good friend. We have played a lot of ‘A’ cricket together. There is no such rivalry with Ishant Sharma too,” Akmal said in the interview.
Kamran Akmal, Wahab Riaz join Peshawar Zalmi squad after recovering from virus
Both Akmal and Wahab Riaz have joined the PSL franchise, Peshawar Zalmi after they recovered from the covid-19 virus. They were allowed to train with the squad after returning negative results.

Although they missed the opening match against Quetta Gladiators., they can join the squad from the next game onwards. Riaz is the captain of the franchise and he will assume duties once he returns to the setup.
The duo is expected to play in Zalmi’s next match against Islamabad United which is scheduled on January 30.
