The eighth edition of Tamil Nadu Premier League- TNPL 2024- is all set to enthrall Indian cricket fans in July. TNPL 2024 begins on Friday, July 7 with the opening game between Lyca Kovai Kings and Chepaul Gilliers.
The TNPL 2024 opening game takes place at SCF Cricket Ground in Salem City, Tamil Nadu. The venue will also host the first nine games of the franchise T20 league. A total of 8 teams are part of the tournament this season.
They are Lyca Kovai Kings, Chepauk Super Gillies, Dindigul Dragons, Trichy Grand Cholas, Salem Spartans, Siechem Madurai Panthers, Nellai Royal Kings, and IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans.
Kavai Kings are the defending champions of the last season who outplayed Nellai Royal Kings in the final by 104 runs to lift the title Notably, the most successful team in TNPL history is Chepauk Super Gillies with 4 titles across 7 seasons.

TNPL 2024 broadcasting, live telecast, and live streaming in India
TNPL 2024 will witness a total of 32 games from July 5 to July 28. Star Sports Network is the official broadcaster of the Tamil Nadu Premier League in India. All the games will be live telecast on Star Sports Channels- Star Sports 1 and Star Sports 1 Tamil Channels.
The live streaming will be available on the FanCode app and website. However, fans need a premium package to enjoy the live streaming on the app. Fans can buy monthly or respective tournament packages on FanCode.
