IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans Cricket Team (2025)

IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans are one of the eight teams participating in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). The team is owned by iDream Cinemas and Properties. The Tiruppur Tamizhans made their TNPL debut in 2021 season. Ahead of the 2020 TNPL season, Karaikudi Kaalai was renamed as Tiruppur Tamizhans after moving its base to the city of Tiruppur.

IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans started their journey in the TNPL in 2021. They could not make a big impression in their debut season as they finished at the bottom of the points table with just 2 wins from 7 games.

After the last-place finish in 2021, Tiruppur Tamizhans did well in 2022 but still could not make it to the playoffs. With 3 wins from 7 games, they finished the league stage at the 5th spot in the points table.

Tiruppur Tamizhans failed to make the cut for the playoffs in 2023 as well. They eventually finished at the sixth spot in the points table after managing to win only 2 of their 7 league games.

In 2024, Tiruppur Tamizhans finally managed to progress ahead of the league stage. With 4 wins from 7 games, they finished the league stage at the second spot in the points table. However, they lost both of their games in the playoffs and failed to make it to the final.
