Umesh Yadav Allegedly Duped Of INR 44 Lakh By Ex-Manager Under Pretext Of Buying Land

Umesh Yadav has been scammed by his ex-manager Shailesh Thakre who promised him to buy land in Nagpur City of Maharashtra worth 44 Lakhs. Umesh Yadav has launched a cheating complaint against his ex-manager. He earlier had worked for Umesh Yadav way back in 2014.

Police Complaint

The Official gave how the incident panned out. “Thakre gained the trust of Yadav over time. He started handling all the financial affairs of Umesh Yadav.

“He used to handle Yadav’s bank account, income tax and other financial tasks. Thakre located a plot in a barren area. He told Yadav he would get it for Rs 44 lakh. Yadav deposited Rs 44 lakh in Thakre’s bank account. However, Thakre purchased the plot in his name,” said the official.

“Yadav lodged a complaint with police in Koradi, following which a case was registered under sections 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust) and 420 (Cheating and thereby dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of the Indian Penal Code,” the official added.

Crucial Test Series For India

The upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 is quite important for the Men in Blue as they have to win the Test Series by 3-1 or 3-0 to stake a claim in the World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23) final race. It would be interesting to see whether Umesh Yadav gets a game straight away as there’s a lot of competition.
