Very Very Happy With Our Buys: RCB Skipper Virat Kohli

India and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli is delighted with the players that the Bengaluru-based franchise has chosen in the recently-concluded IPL 2021 Auction.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore had gone into the IPL 2021 auction with quite a few holes to plug in their squad after they had released as many as 12 players from the set-up that made their way to the playoffs for the first time last year since the 2016 last season.
RCB roped in the likes of Glenn Maxwell [Rs 14.25 crore], Kyle Jamieson [Rs 15 crore], Dan Christian [Rs 4.8 crore], Sachin Baby [Rs 20 Lakh], Rajat Patidar [Rs 20 Lakh], Mohammed Azharuddeen [Rs 20 Lakh], Suyash Prabhudessai [Rs 20 Lakh] and KS Bharat [20 Lakh] in the 2021 auction.
Skipper Virat Kohli, in a video posted by RCB’s official Twitter handle, said that he is happy with the players that they had bought in the auction. He added that the side has got the balance that they were looking for and he believes that the new additions will help the side continue its upward spiral.
“Very very happy with our buys and the results we had in the auction. We got what we wanted for the balance and strength of our squad. We had a really good season last year and we believe that the new additions are going to propel us in the right direction going forward,” said Virat Kohli in a video posted on the official Twitter handle of RCB.
The leading run-scorer in the history of the IPL, Virat Kohli, also went on to heap high praise on his loyal fans, claiming that RCB has the best fanbase in the competition and he is looking forward to their support in IPL 2021.
“Hopefully, a couple of more steps further than the last year. Cannot wait to be back and get going for RCB this year. Just want to say once again, RCB fans are the best fanbase, we look forward to your support,” Kohli added.
