South Africa player Heinrich Klaasen grabbed a superb catch against the Netherlands in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. This catch gets the 5th spot on this list. During the South Africa vs Netherlands vs South Africa match, Dutch opener Vikramjit Singh hit a pull shot off Kagiso Rabada’s bouncer.
As the ball flew towards the third-man position, Heinrich Klaasen ran backward to grab a stunning catch. Klaasen ran backward but managed to get hold of the ball to give the first breakthrough to the team in the match.

4. Mitchell Marsh vs Pakistan (AUS vs PAK 2nd Test)
Recently, Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh bagged a marvelous catch against Pakistan in the AUS vs PAK 2nd Test in Melbourne. In the 4th innings of the match, Pakistan’s Agha Salman pulled a ball off Mitchell Starc.
The ball hit his top edge and went between first slip and third man. It looked like the ball would fall between the fielders. However, Marsh sprinted forward from the third man and collected the ball. It was an unbelievable piece of fielding by the Aussie all-rounder.

3. David Miller vs Afghanistan (ODI World Cup)
David Miller took a stunner against Afghanistan in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Miller took an unexpected catch after almost losing the ball. Afghanistan batter Rahmat Shah hit a ball towards backward point.

Miller got the ball in his hand but could not complete the catch on the first attempt. After juggling the ball three times, he managed to grab it with his left hand. It was funny as well as an amazing catch to look out for.

1. Trent Boult vs Netherlands (ODI World Cup)
Trent Boult steals the top spot on this list for his spectacular catch against the Netherlands in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. The Kiwi pacer grabbed a catch near the boundary to dismiss Bas Le Leede.
Boult caught the ball near the boundary and threw it in the air as he was about to cross the boundary ropes. He stepped outside the boundary and returned inside to grab the ball once again with his hand to complete the catch. It was one of the best catches that entertained cricket fans around the world.
