India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma is having a tough time in the ongoing first Test against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The opening game of the three-match series between the teams is taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The start of the first Test between India and New Zealand didn't go the way skipper Rohit Sharma would've wanted. With the bat, his team had a forgettable outing as they looked bizarre with the bat. They got all out for 46 runs, which is the lowest in Asia.

And after that, India haven't been rewarded much with the ball. They have bowled in decent areas but haven't been able to take wickets they wouldn't wanted. This made skipper Rohit anxious as well and the frustration has been visible very much on his face.

It was evident when he was heard abusing his teammate. It's not clear who the captain was abusing, but it can be believed either Yashasvi Jaiswal or Sarfaraz Khan was at the receiving end of it. Skipper Rohit was unhappy with his teammate doing something.

In the video that went viral on the internet, Rohit, who was at slips, was heard saying, "B***d*k* kya kr ra hai, C*****a hai kya". It can be suspected that the skipper was unhappy with his teammate doing something with the ball and not letting the bowler bowl.

Here's the video:

Rohit Sharma didn't have a great outing with the bat in the first innings

Rohit didn't have a great outing with the bat in the first innings. He looked scratchy at the crease with the ball moving here and there. He couldn't make a big impact with the bat and was back in the hut after scoring just 2 runs as his stumps were castled by Tim Southee.

Overall, it was a torrid outing with the bat for India. After Rohit Sharma got out, wickets fell like a pack of cards. New Zealand National Cricket Team bowlers were all over the opposition as pacers wreaked havoc, not letting batters settle at all.

Rishabh Pant was the top run-getter for the team in the innings

Rishabh Pant was the top run-getter for the team in the innings, as he slammed 20 runs, while the second-best score came from Yashasvi Jaiswal, who slammed 13 runs. Five batters from the team, Virat Kohli, Sarfaraz Khan, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ravichandran Ashwin, bagged ducks. This was also their third-lowest total in the history of Test cricket.

India would be hoping to take wickets with the ball as early as possible. Kuldeep Yadav took the opening wicket for his team, and after that, Ravindra Jadeja removed Will Young. Skipper Rohit Sharma would now want his bowlers to take quick wickets and restrict New Zealand to less total. The opening batter would be extremely crucial for his team going into the second innings.
