This was the second consecutive wicket for Chris Woakes in the game. On a ball before that, the all-rounder removed Alzarri Joesph to pick his third wicket in the first innings of the ongoing Test against West Indies National Cricket Team.

Chris Woakes bowled a fuller-length ball well outside off. Alzarri Joseph tried to go big downtown but the ball moved away a bit and an outside edge was induced. Jamie Smith behind the stumps got low to his right and pouched it safely to remove the batter for a low score.

Alzarri Joesph scored just 10 runs with the bat and with his wicket, West Indies lost their 8th wicket. Chris Woakes bagged a four-wicket haul in the first innings. The all-rounder returned with the figures of 4/84 and his performance saw England ending West Indies' innings on 457 runs.

Joshua De Silva played an instrumental role in West Indies taking a first-innings lead. After the team was left tottering at 386/9, the keeper-batter brought out his aggressive best with the bat. He slammed England National Cricket Team bowlers all over the park.

Josh De Silva ended with an innings of unbeaten 82 runs off 122 balls. His knock powered West Indies to a total of 457 runs and helped them take a first-innings lead of 42 runs and be at the top of the game.
