David Miller, on Friday (November 10), pulled off a fine juggling catch to end Rahmat Shah???s stay at the crease in the ongoing World Cup game between South Africa and Afghanistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Batting first, Afghanistan were off to a decent start before suffering a collapse that saw them getting reduced to 45 for 3 from 41 for no loss. Rahmat Shah and Azmatullah Omarzai then steadied the ship before the former was dismissed by Lungi Ngidi.
On the fifth ball of the 24th over, the South Africa pacer bowled a back-of-length delivery wide of the off stump and Rahmat decided to drive. He, however, failed to keep his shot down and ended up offering an easy chance to David Miller who was standing at backward point. It was a regulation chance for the Proteas star but he fumbled at the first attempt.
As a result, the ball popped out of his hand, and he juggled it a couple of times. A lucky ricochet off his own face then saved him from embarrassment as he finally managed to hold on to the ball. Rahmat departed after scoring 26 runs off 46 balls with the help of a couple of fours.

At the time of writing this report, Afghanistan were on 107 for 4 after 26 overs with Omarzai and Ikram Alikhil fighting it out in the middle. South Africa have already booked their place in the semifinals of the World Cup after winning 6 of their 8 games so far.
The Temba Bavuma-led side suffered a crushing 243-run defeat against India in their last outing and will be desperate to get back to winning ways before the semifinal. In the semifinal, they will be locking horns against five-time world champions Australia. South Africa are eyeing their first-ever World Cup final. Afghanistan, on the other hand, are still in contention to make it to the semifinals but their chances are extremely slim.
