Sri Lanka National Cricket Team bowler Wanindu Hasaranga is making sure that he gives his best with the ball in the ongoing first ODI against India National Cricket Team. The game between the two teams is taking place at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Sri Lanka spinners have spun their web around the India batters. The hosts after putting a total of 230 runs on the board have made sure that they keep things tight with the ball. They have chipped in with wickets at regular intervals and have put the visitors under pressure.

One of the major contributors to Sri Lanka came from Wanindu Hasaranga. The former skipper of the team has landed heavy blows to the Indian team in the form of wickets in big games. He also removed Kuldeep Yadav and the ball to get his Indian counterpart out was nothing short of exceptional.

Wanindu Hasaranga bowled a googly to which Kuldeep Yadav looked to turn it into the leg-side but he ended up playing it all around. The ball straightened a touch and beat the outside edge to hit the off-stump. He made India's batter look clueless with the peach. Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli, who were sitting together in the dressing room looked stressed after the dismissal.

Here's the video:

Kuldeep Yadvav couldn't make a bigger impact with the bat as he ended up with just 2 runs off 10 balls. Wanindu Hasaranga was the key performer for his team as he ealier picked wickets of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul that broke the backbone of Indian middle order

Wanindu Hasaranga returned with the figures of 3/58 and after he took wicket of Kuldeep Yadav, Sri Lanka skipper Charith Asalanka picked two back to back wickets and ensured that his team doesn't lose the game. He removed Shivam Dube and Arshdeep Singh on two successive balls as game ended in tie.
