The 30-year-old England National Cricket Team pacer Jofra Archer has made a dream comeback to Test cricket after staying out of the format for a very long time.
Jofra Archer struck with his third ball on the Test comeback and dismissed the India National Cricket Team in-form opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal at Lord's in London on Friday, July 11.

Jofra Archer starts with a wicket-maiden
Archer was added to the England playing XI for the third Test match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against India, and he replaced Josh Tongue in the team.
It was the first time that Archer was selected in the Test playing XI of England in four-plus years, with his last red-ball outing in international cricket coming way back in 2021 during the match against India at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Before making his Test comeback, Jofra Archer played just one match for Sussex against Durham, where he bowled 18 overs and picked up one wicket.
Meanwhile, Jofra Archer got his first opportunity to bowl in the Lord's Test on Day 2. He came to bowl the second over and looked in great rhythm, clocking over 145 kmph easily.
On the third ball of the over, he bowled a 145kmph searing seam-up delivery on and around off stump to Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was on the back foot, hoping to nudge it into the leg-side.
However, he only managed to get a leading edge, and the ball went straight into the hands of Harry Brook at second slip. After picking his first wicket on his comeback, Jofra Archer went wild and celebrated aggressively before getting a hug from Shoaib Bashir. Jaiswal walked back to the hut in disappointment after scoring just 13 runs.

Fairy-tale stuff - Nasser Hussain on Jofra Archer taking a wicket on the third ball
Speaking on Sky Sports, Nasser Hussain labelled Archer picking a wicket on the third ball in his comeback game as 'fairy-tale' stuff. He said:
"Edged and carried, Jofra is back. Fairy-tale stuff. The Lord's crowd have waited for it. Incredible."
Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik highlighted that Archer took no time to bowl the quickest ball of the series. He said:
"Mouth watering. Exactly what every English fan would want to see. The quickest ball of the series. That tells you a lot about Jofra Archer. What an over it was, full of drama."
While talking about Archer's comeback, the legendary English pacer Stuart Broad said that the premier pacer will be nervous in the middle and would be hoping that nothing goes wrong. He said:
"He has played in some pressure scenarios. Archer is not someone who will have the ball in his hand and be shaking or anything like that. It is just stepping into the unknown slightly again.
"He has recovered from his injuries then got them again then recovered then got injured again so in the back of his mind he will be slightly concerned that he won't want something to go bad again. He hasn't had a huge amount of workload. His workload is going to be 30-40 overs. There will be some nervousness about that but the excitement will overawe everything"
