India National Cricket Team pacer Mohammed Siraj has been giving his all with the ball in the ongoing game against Sri Lanka National Cricket Team. The series decider third ODI between the teams is taking place at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Mohammed Siraj didn't start the game well, as he was taken for a lot of runs in the first two spells. The fast bowler looked out of sorts as he didn't bowl good lines and lengths upfront. He looked rusty as Sri Lanka batters cashed on that and got some quick runs off his bowling in the ongoing game.

However, in this third spell, Mohammed Siraj has been exceptional. He has been pushing himself hard with the ball and even his intensity was pretty high. This was quite evident when he had a go at Sri Lanka National Cricket Team batter Kusal Mendis during the 39th over.

Mohammed Siraj started the over with the three dots. On the third ball of the over, the fast bowler bowled a 135kph that was skidding. The ball kept low and Kusal Mendis brought his bat down just in time to keep it out. After that two players exchanged words between the team.

Here's the video:

Mohammed Siraj, after that verbal spat with Kusal Mendis, made an immediate impact on the team. The fast bowler removed Sadeera Samarawickrama on the very next ball as he bowled a searing yorker and trapped the right-hander in lbw to take his first wicket of the day.

Mohammed Siraj bowled a yorker that was tailing in. Sadeera Samarawickrama brought his bat down hurriedly as the ball went on to hit the boot first. The bather couldn't get his leg out of the way, but the on-field umpire didn't term it out. However, a strong appeal from Virat Kohli and pacer made skipper Rohit Sharma opt for DRS.

TheUltraEdge didn't show any spike and the ball-tracking showed leg. Sadeera Samarawickrama bagged the golden duck as India made a strong comeback. Mohammed Siraj bowled 9 overs and picked 1 wicket, giving away 78 runs.

Sri Lanka posts total of 248 runs on board

India bowlers were under pressure for the majority of the game. Sri Lanka had a pretty solid start with the bat as the duo of Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando came up with a sensational batting display at the top.

Pathum Nissanka (45) and Avishka Fernando (96) added 89 runs for the opening partnership and put Indian bowers under pressure. Kusal Mendis, who walked out to bat at No.3, played a vital hand for his team and ended with an innings of 59 runs off 82 balls.

Sri Lanka lost wickets in the middle overs and couldn't finish on high. They ended with a total of 248 runs on the board. For the India National Cricket Team, Riyan Parag was the pick of the bowlers with his three wickets. Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar and Axar Patel were amongst the wickets as well.
