India National Cricket Team fast bowler Mohammed Siraj and the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team player Akila Dananjaya were involved in a verbal spat during the ongoing second ODI. The match between the teams is taking place at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Mohammed Siraj didn't have a great outing in the death overs of the ongoing game against Sri Lanka. The fast bowler was taken for runs in the last few overs, and the seamer looked extremely disappointed with himself, having conceded quite a few runs after a good start.
In the 49th over of the innings, Mohammed Siraj got hit for two boundaries. The second four came from the bat of spinner Akila Dananjaya. The left-hander lofted the ball over the umpire's head and got a handy boundary for his team during the fag end of the innings.
However, this didn't go well with Mohammed Siraj as he followed it up with a fierce short ball. The fast bowler bowled a short delivery that rushed Akila Dananjaya on the pull. The fast bowler was quick to run up to the batter and gave him a stare and had a verbal spat.

Sri Lanka ends with 240 runs in the second ODI against India
The Sri Lanka National Cricket Team had a decent outing with the bat in the ongoing game against India. Although they lost Pathum Nissanka early Avishka Fernando (40) and Kusal Mendis (30) batted terrifically and put India under pressure. They eased into the innings and added 74 runs.
But after that Indian spinners made a sensational comeback. The likes of Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel brought their team back into the game. They picked wickets at regular intervals and left the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team tottering at 136/6.
After that, Dunith Wellalage continued his good form with the bat. The youngster scored 39 runs and brought his Team back into the game. Kamindu Mendis also came up with a vital effort and slammed 40 runs while Akila Dananjaya chipped in with crucial 15 runs as Sri Lanka National Cricket Team ended with the total of 240/9. Having not managed to win the first game, India would be keen to stage a comeback and chase the target.
