Watch: Mumbai Indians Share Viral Video Of Rajasthan Policeman Dismissing Batters With Thunderbolts

IPL franchise Mumbai Indians is always on the lookout for unearthing new talent in the IPL. Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya are two of the biggest names who have gone on to play for India after playing for MI in the IPL.

Hardik Pandya went on to become the skipper of a new team in the IPL in the form of Gujarat Titans and he won the title in the very first season as captain. Hardik eventually led India in T20I cricket with Bumrah becoming one of the most dependable pacers for the national team.

Recently Mumbai Indians shared a video of a Rajasthan Policeman dismissing a batter at the nets. In the video, the policeman can be seen delivering a stunner that hits the middle stumps to dismiss the batter. He repeated his feat, by dismissing two more batters in the next couple of balls. The franchise shared the video with a creative caption that read, “Hello 100, we’d like to report a case of fiery pace.”

The video garnered a lot of traction on social media. Fans started sharing and commentating on the video as well. One of the fans compared the policemen to how Hardik Pandya became popular after playing for Mumbai Indians. He wrote, “This talent could only bring Mumbai Indians to the limelight like it brought Pandya”.

A fan highlighted cricket as an emotion in the Indian community. He wrote, “It shows cricket is not a game it is an emotion”. Meanwhile, the policeman, named Durjan thanked Mumbai Indians for sharing the video on their Instagram account.

The Mumbai Indians-owned MI New York franchise recently won the final of The Major League Cricket. Nicholas Pooran who led the team in the tournament scored an unbeaten 137 in the final against Seattle Orcas. They beat the Orcas by seven wickets chasing 182 to win. Pooran hit 10 boundaries and 13 sixes in the game to help MI New York lift the trophy.
