Watch: Ned Leonard gets dismissed in the unluckiest way possible in the Second Eleven T20 final
Bowling allrounder Ned Leonard was dismissed in the most bizarre way possible during the Second Eleven T20 final match between Somerset and Yorkshire at Sir Paul Getty's Ground, Wormsley. The incident happened in the penultimate over of the first innings of the match.
Somerset's Ned Leonard was facing the the fourth ball of the 19th over, which was bowled by right-arm pacer Benjamin Cliff. Cliff bowled a full length delivery on leg stump, which Leonard tried to pump down the ground.
But the ball hit the non-striker Kasey Aldridge, who tried to duck under the ball but was late. The ball popped up straight up after hitting Aldridge and went straight to the bowler Benjamin Cliff for a simple catch. Leonard was dismissed for a second ball-duck. It was a rare dismissal and probably the unluckiest way for a batter to be dismissed.

But Ned Leonard had a great day with the ball as he picked up 4-25 and helped his team to dominate the final. He also picked up the last wicket of the match by dismissing Joshua Hen-Boisen in the 17th over of Yorkshire's innings.
Somerset defeat Yorkshire to win the Second Eleven T20 Final
Talking about the match, Somerset won the toss and elected to bat first. They lost two wickets inside the powerplay but continued to score at a good run rate. Maintaining a healthy run rate helped as Yorkshire's bowlers were under pressure despite picking up wickets at regular intervals.
Opener Joshua Thomas scored a quickfire 52 off 27 balls at the top while Andrew Umeed, Finley Hill, and skipper James Rew also chipped in with vital contributions as Somerset scored 191 in 20 overs. For Yorkshire, Benjamin Cliff picked up 3 wickets for 30 runs while George Hill returned figures of 4-33. Offspinner Dom Bess picked up 1-42 in four overs.
Chasing a huge target to win the final, Yorkshire got off to a poor start but were steadied with a 50-run partnership for the second wicket between William Luxton and Yash Vagadia. But once Yorkshire lost their captain William Luxton, their innings crumbled as they kept losing wickets regularly.
The middle and lower order did not provide much resistance as Yorkshire were bundled out for 125 within 16.5 overs. William Luxton top-scored for Yorkshire with 34 off 25 balls while Yash Vagadia and George Hill also played small and quick cameos. But it was not enough as Yorkshire lost the title clash by 66 runs.
Right-arm seamer Ned Leonard was the pick of the bowlers for Somerset as he finished with 4 wickets. Alfie Ogborne and Kasey Aldridge also picked up 2 wickets to break the backbone of Yorkshire's batting order.
