Rohit Sharma is known as a light-hearted character and someone whose company is enjoyed by his teammates. The Indian captain also does not shy away from trolling his teammates on various occasions.

Recently, Rohit was at his hilarious best at 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' alongside India's other T29 World Cup 2024 winners. In a segment during the episode, Shivam Dube was asked to impersonate a player using the actions and Rohit had to guess that player.

The chit showed Virat Kohli's name and Shivam Dube started imitating Kohli's actions and aggression while he was batting at the crease. Dube tried to imitate some trademark Kohli shots during his act.

In the end, Rohit currently guessed Kohli's name but also hilariously said, "Maaf karna bahut hi ghatiya acting ki hai (Forgive me but the acting was very bad)." Rohit's comments had everyone laughing in the show.

Along with Rohit Sharma and Shivam Dube, India's other T20 World Cup 2024 superstars like Suryakumar Yadav, Axar Patel, Shivam Dube, and Arshdeep Singh were also present at the show.

All of these players were a part of India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad that won the title in June this year. All of them played key roles in India's title win and were a part of the first-choice Playing XI.

Rohit Sharma and Shivam Dube in T20 World Cup 2024

Rohit Sharma was the team's captain and finished as India's highest run-scorer and the second-highest run-scorer overall. He consistently gave India flying starts at the top which laid the platform for the rest of the batters to follow.

Rohit smashed 257 runs in 8 matches of the tournament at an average of 36.71 and a strike rate of 156.70. His captaincy was also impressive as his decisions proved correct during critical times. After leading India to the title win, he announced his retirement from the format.

Dube, too, played his part and contributed a crucial 27 off 16 balls in the final against South Africa. His runs proved to be vital in the end as India won the thriller by 6 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav and Axar Patel in T20 World Cup 2024

Suryakumar Yadav had a good tournament as he scored 199 runs at an average of 28.42 and a strike rate of 135.57. Surya took a famous catch in the last over of the final to turn the match India's way. After Rohit retired from T20Is, Suryakumar Yadav has been appointed India's next T20I captain.

Axar Patel had an excellent tournament and scored a magnificent 47 off 31 balls in the final. He came in to bat under immense pressure but showed his batting skills when his team needed him to. Axar finished with 3-19 in the semi-final against England and helped India qualify for the final.
