Yashasvi Jaiswal is not only a talented batsman but also a great fielder. The youngster has got great hands and has taken some outstanding catches in the slip and gully cordon in his short international career so far.

During Bangladesh's second innings of the first Test, Jaiswal took an outstanding catch to dismiss the veteran allrounder Shakib Al Hasan off the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin angled in a ball from around the wicket and got the ball to bounce awkwardly.

Shakib tried to defend with a straight bat and with a decent stride forward. The ball hit high on the inside part of the bat before hitting the pads to go towards the short leg where Jaiswal went low to his left to complete the catch with both hands.

Indian bowlers tried their best and kept on persisting by bowling attacking lines and lengths. Mohammed Siraj even took the route of sledging Shanto to break his concentration.
