After the Test series, it’s time for some T20I cricket between South Africa and West Indies. They engage in a five-match T20I series starting with the first T20I on Saturday, June 26. All five matches will be played at the National Cricket Stadium, St George’s, Grenada. The second T20I will be played a day later on Sunday, June 27.
Both teams have played on 10 occasions so far with South Africa winning six games while West Indies four. However, the current team is almost unbeatable in the T20I format. Meanwhile, the predicted weather for the game in Grenada is not a good one.
The past few days almost had 70 percent rain and this is what keeps the game hanging in the balance. A rain interruption might also result in a shortened game. The series starts preparations for both teams for the T20 World Cup later this year.
