Jamaica hosts the WI vs SA second T20I on Sunday, May 26 from 12.30 am IST. This is the second of the three games to be played at this venue. West Indies are leading the series 1-0 after winning the first T20I by 28 runs.

West Indies scored 175/8 batting first in the first game. Stand-in skipper Brandon King scored 79 off 45 balls in the game. Contributions from Kyle Mayers (34) and Roston Chase (32) were crucial as well.

South Africa chasing 176 to win was bowled out for 147. Reeza Hendricks scored 87 off 51 balls but to no avail, as he did not get any support from the other partners. Four batters scored ducks and there was no contribution from the lower order as Hendricks ran out of partners.

This is the final series for both teams ahead of the T20 World Cup in West Indies and USA and the hosts have started strongly. They fairly committed to the Proteas in the first game. Two of their bowlers picked up two wickets each to bowl out the opposition and give them no chance to come back into the game.

For South Africa, Kagiso Rabada and David Miller are rested from the series. Aiden Markram their regular skipper, Heinrich Klaasen and Marco Jansen are busy playing in the IPL for SRH who played the Qualifier 2 on Friday.

The two teams have now played 20 T20Is with South Africa winning 11 games and West Indies nine. The Protea have won six out of their 8 T20Is in South Africa.
