"Work pe gaya thaa yaa shoot pe"- Shikhar Dhawan hilariously trolls Dinesh Karthik on his latest Instagram post

Dinesh Karthik and Shikhar Dhawan are best of friends in the Indian team having played alongside for a long time. Karthik bid goodbye to all forms of cricket after IPL 2024.
Currently, he is in England commentating in The Hundred. After his international retirement, Karthik has kept himself busy with commentary gins and expert opinions. He is currently a part of the Sky Sports commentary team for The Hundred.

Taking To Instagram, DK posted a few pictures of his with the caption "Hey Boss, taking a subway to work. Will be on time for my standup". He was looking dapper in a dressed in a cream-colored trouser along with a brown coloured blazer.
Karthik posing these pictures gave Shikhar Dhawan an opportunity to pull his leg. Replying to his post he said "Boss work pe gya thaa yaa photo shoot pe🤔🤔😃😃" with a little bit of humor to it.
Speaking about Shikhar Dhawan, he is currently out of the Indian cricket team. However, he is regularly playing in the IPL. He is amongst the top-scorers in the league churning out runs almost every year.
He has been incredibly consistent since the 2016 IPL season when he joined Sunrisers Hyderabad. He has scored over 500 runs four times since the 2016 season. Dhawan is currently playing for Punjab Kings since IPL 2023.

Meanwhile, talking about Dinesh Karthik retired from all forms of cricket after IPL 2024. He scored 326 runs in the season at an average of 187.35. His association with RCB will continue as he will be taking over as the batting coach and mentor of the franchise.
Dinesh Karthik will also become the first player from India to play in the SA20. He was signed up by the Paarl Royals earlier this month. He expressed his happiness to play in the tournament in an interaction with Cricbuzz.
"I have so many fond memories of playing in and visiting South Africa, and when this opportunity came about, I couldn't say no because of how special it would be to come back to playing competitive cricket and win this incredible competition with the Royals," Dinesh Karthik said.
"Even though I didn't have the chance to represent the Royals in the IPL, to me it was always a franchise setup and environment that was very attractive as a player. I am delighted to be joining the Paarl Royals team which oozes a lot of experience, quality, and potential. I am certainly looking forward to joining the group and contributing to what should be an exciting season," Dinesh Karthik further added.
Speaking about Shikhar Dhawan, he last played Test cricket for India in 2018, T20I cricket in 2021, and ODI cricket in 2022. He has been a consistent performer for India, especially in the white-ball format and his partnership with Rohit Sharma has been explosive at the top for India. He is currently out of reckoning for selection and is only playing in the IPL.
