The flamboyant batsman quoted it is a great deal to play for India at the age of 18 years. He feels the youngster utilised the opportunity brilliantly to score a century on his debut game as well.

”He is a great talent and it is a very big thing to play for India at the age of 18, and at the same time, doing so well in his Test debut. I wish him luck. To play for India at the age of 18 is a very big deal,” he said.

“Not just me, there are so many players who get to play for India at 25 or 26 but he made his debut at 18 and also scored a century. It’s a very big deal,” Dhawan added to his lines.

However, as Dhawan said, Prithvi Shaw is a great talent in the Indian cricket and born to do big things. Meanwhile, it is also great to hear high praises from Dhawan without any disappointment of losing his place.
