Details regarding the venues

Eleven world-class venues will host the 46-day tournament all over the UK. Each side will play the other once in a single-league format with the top four teams after 45 matches progressing to the semi-finals.

ICC Chief Executive David Richardson said it would give fans all across the county to watch cricket. He also admitted all national teams would get equal support and it will be a real celebration.

This schedule gives fans across England and Wales the opportunity to watch world-class cricket on their doorstep with all teams moving around the country. We know from previous ICC events that every country will get equal support at each of the venues creating an exceptional atmosphere and a real celebration of the game,” Richardson said.

The mega event’s managing director, Steve Elworthy admitted each team would get a home crowd every time they play. He also promised all the cricket lovers that they would work hard to create a perfect stage for this event.

Ticket Prices

Elworthy admitted they considered everything before developing the ticket prices.

He also noted this illustrious tournament is the third most viewed global tournament and they have considered this before setting prices.

The prices have been tested with thousands of fans over the last six months, we have used external experts and consulted widely to ensure that they are good value versus other global sporting events. The prices balance accessibility with delivering the investment required to deliver a world-class event. All revenue is invested back in the game to grow cricket,” he concluded.
