Who would have expected Australia will reach such a low bar in their performance graph? They have always been the top-class side and always, professionally dealt the things. However, one unfortunate incident completely changed things for the team, and the vows are still going on. Meanwhile, Steve Waugh makes his voice on the team squad for the 2019 World Cup.

However, Australia will enter the grand event, as the defending champions. However, will that be with Steven Smith, David Warner or without them? It is yet to know. Meanwhile, Waugh bats for experienced support staff.

Further, he wants the professionals like Tom Moody and Paul Reiffel to be in the squad, who has got great experience under their belt. Steve Waugh feels the experienced campaigners can deal the situation well in the pressure-filled event.

“I wanted experienced players in England because it’s more of a genuine cricket match,” Waugh told cricket.com.au recently. And what I’m saying there is that the bowlers come into play a lot more in England, so I wanted guys like (experienced all-rounder) Tom Moody and (seamer) Paul Reiffel in the squad.”

“You need a bit more experience in England conditions I think – unless the game has changed in the last 20 years, which it probably has. But I still think a really good cricket team will win in England, more so than necessarily the best one-day side. I think you need really good players in those conditions, in England,” Steve Waugh added.

Well, as Steve Waugh said, the experienced campaigners in the dugout will certainly help Australians to do well with the current troubles. Meanwhile, it is interesting to see whether Cricket Australia considers his suggestion.
