The young all-rounder received a call-up from the selectors for the South Africa series, which was a surprise decision. However, the youngster failed to make the most of the opportunity. Though he was economical in both games, he failed to grab at least one wicket in his account.

Certainly, the board would look for other options, especially, with Ravindra Jadeja and Yuzvendra Chahal in the standbys. If they go for a fast-bowling all-rounder, Vijay Shankar might make into the squad.

The youngster might be one of those guys, who are unfortunate to miss out. The flamboyant cricketer has developed bowling diagonally but couldn’t find a spot in the playing XI in the last couple of games.

With Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav staying away from the team for a long time now, the team management would ask them to make a comeback. Apart from the duo, Jadeja would be eager to play in the shorter format.

The stylish southpaw might have lost the trust of the Indian team selectors and the management. It has been a long time since Pant playing a match-winning knock for the team. The last time when he performed for the team was in West Indies following the conclusion of ICC World Cup 2019.

With Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan making waves in the domestic cricket, the selectors would try one between them in the place of Rishabh Pant.

Yeah, the opening batsman and the vice-captain of the Indian National Cricket Team, Rohit Sharma might stay away for the upcoming series against Bangladesh. He played a continuous cricket in the last couple of years.

After playing the ICC World Cup 2019, where he was the highest run-scorer, he played in West Indies across the formats. Following the series, he played in home T20I series against South Africa and then opened innings in Test format of the game as well.

As he played a lot of cricket in the last few months, the board would ask him to have some family time. Meanwhile, the likes of KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal would be eyeing the spot.
