Former India opener Virender Sehwag took to Twitter and praised Pat Cummins and Australia team for their magnificent victory in the 1st Test of Ashes 2023 at Edgbaston. Virender Sehwag also said that Pat Cummins is the new Mr. Cool of Test cricket.
Australia outplayed England by 2 wickets in a nail-biting 1st Test of Ashes 2023. The visitors chased down a target of 282 runs in the final innings. Pat Cummins was the star of the chase with his unbeaten 44 runs and an unbeaten 55-run stand with Nathan Lyon for the 9th wicket.

Pat Cummins Is The New Mr. Cool: Virender Sehwag
After the match, former Indian batting legend Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to praise Cummins for his match-winning knock. He also said that Pat Cummins is the new Mr. Cool of Test cricket.

Australia had a target of 282 in the final innings of the match. The team started well but they later lost 8 wickets for 227 runs at one stage. Later, Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon made a match-winning partnership of 55 runs to lead the team to victory by just 2 wickets.
Earlier, England posted 393-8 (d) in 1st innings to which Australia responded with 386 all-out. Later, England were bundled out for 273 in the 2nd innings and set a target of 282 for the visitors in the final innings.
