What an exciting day it’s for a young gun like Khaleel Ahmed owing to his cricketing career. He got a great start by making his debut in the prestigious Asia Cup 2018. The Indian team management handed the debut cap to left-arm fast bowler Khaleel against Hong Kong in the tourney opener for India at the Dubai International Stadium.

Khaleel received the cap from Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. He is the 222nd player to make his debut in One-day International games for India. It would be interesting to see how he moulds his career.

Surprisingly, they handed a chance to Dinesh Karthik, Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav in the playing XI for their opening game against Hong Kong.
