Former England cricket team skipper Michael Vaughan has hailed Indian National Cricket team as a fantastic cricket team. In addition to, he also praised MS Dhoni saying him as a cool cucumber.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni (87* off 114) and Kedar Jadhav (61* off 57) put on an unbroken 121 to seal the chase, after Chahal’s six-wicket haul had kept Australia to 230. Although it wasn’t a massive target, but given the nature of the pitch, it looked tricky. Moreover, Peter Siddle dismissed Rohit Sharma early on to put more pressure on the visitors.

Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli then went about steadying the innings. They picked the singles when they could before Dhawan (23) chipped to Marcus Stoinis. India were 59/2, and Dhoni came into the middle to partner Kohli. Dhoni and Kohli went on to add 54 for the third wicket before Virat Kohli departed. At that point, India were 113 for 3 and still needed another 118 to win. But in Jadhav, Dhoni found an able ally. The duo steered their side home to win their first ever bilateral ODI series on Australian soil.

Previously, Bhuvneshwar Kumar put India on track with his early strikes before Yuzvendra Chahal came into the game. The leg-spinner broke the partnership between Shaun Marsh and Usman Khawaja, and there was no stopping him. He added Marcus Stoinis, Jhye Richardson, Peter Handscomb and Adam Zampa to his kitty. Mohammed Shami hits the final nail in the coffin. He cleans up Stanlake, and the hosts are rolled over within 50 overs. Most of the Australian batsmen got starts, but none could go past Handscomb’s 58.
