It's Important To Have Balance As A Player: Sachin Tendulkar

The legendary Sachin Tendulkar has stated the importance of discipline among young cricketers in modern times. Nowadays, cricket has become a much difficult sport to play and players have to put in a lot to succeed.

Well, a brilliant example of such a cricketer is the greatest batsman of this generation, Virat Kohli. He is one of the most disciplined sportsmen of contemporary cricket and has an optimum balance of work ethics and rest in his schedule.

Moreover, Master Blaster Tendulkar has now emphasized the importance of discipline in the players’ life. He stated his example while underlying the importance of maintaining equilibrium in wards’ life.

Furthermore, he opened up that he too failed but a right team and right players helped him achieve a lot in his life. He said that youngsters should not take shortcuts and should not cheat.

Sachin Tendulkar Expresses His Views on Discipline:

“In my life, I have learnt so many things, one thing which I possibly missed out, talking about discipline, concentration, focus, planning, execution, but above all I think there were a number of occasions when I was not able to perform to my expectations,” Tendulkar said.

“I failed also, but sport and right team taught me to get back on my feet again and not find short cuts. There will be tough challenges along the way (but) don’t cheat (otherwise) you will get exposed in front of the whole world,” he added.

Sachin also emphasised on the role of his brother Ajit and his coach Ramakant Achrekar in his road to glory.

“I started discussing cricket with my brother from day one of my career and even on the last day of my career when I was dismissed, we were still discussing how I got dismissed and what could I have done, knowing that I may not go out to bat again. So his contribution is invaluable,” he said.
