England Cricket Team is all set to play a 3-match ODI Series against Bangladesh commencing from 1st March. These ODIs are part of the World Super League where both teams have qualified for the ICC World Cup 2023. With less than 9 months left for the marquee ODI WC 2023, the teams would be aiming to find an ideal combination.
England are the only team to win the ODI series in Bangladesh that too way back in 2015. Recently Bangladesh thrashed India and won the series by 2-1. England is coming back after losing ODI Series against South Africa by 1-2 where they weren’t able to win the crunch moments of the match.

Taskin Ahmed on PSL 2023
Taskin Ahmed was having an interaction with Cricbuzz and where Taskin made interesting comments on PSL 2023.
“They (Multan Sultans) wanted me for three matches. Initially they wanted me from February 17 for three matches and afterwards I spoke with the physio and he said I can go but it would be better if I do a bit more training (to recover fully from the injury).” said Taskin Ahmed.

“Now I am fine and I could have gone and played as well but after I spoke with the physio I did not inform the board (about the offer) because I wanted to train well before the important series (against England).” he added.
Taskin Ahmed on rejecting franchise leagues offers
Taskin Ahmed was asked whether he would regret his decision of not playing in PSL 2023.
“It’s a matter of couple of matches but by playing there (for Multan Sultans ) if I has missed the upcoming series (against England) it would have looked bad. And because I am recovering from an injury it is important that I get fully fit and so I don’t have any regrets about missing it (PSL).” said Taskin Ahmed.
“The board had given me remuneration (for refusing the IPL offer last year) and I don’t have any regrets. Playing in the national team is my main goal, In the national team if I can do well consistently today or tomorrow there will be opportunity (to play foreign T20 leagues) because at the end of the day we all work hard for playing in the national team and if that goes well eventually I will play in the franchise-based T20 competition abroad.” he added.
