Bangladesh cricketer Saif Hasan was fined for overstaying in India after the conclusion of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh. The visitors had a forgettable tour of India where they lost both the Test as well as T20I series. The tour started on a stunning note for Bangladesh as they stunned their fancied hosts in the first T20I.

But that was not at all of the precursor of the things that were to follow. India thrashed the Tigers in the remaining T20Is and the Tests. They won both the T20Is comfortably to clinch the series 2-1 before totally outplaying the tourists in Tests. The world number one Test side won both the Tests by an innings inside three days.

In the last Test which was the historic day-night Test, India beat Bangladesh by an innings and 46 runs. India’s pacers ran riot with the pink ball as the game ended in just over two days. Bangladesh were all out for just 106 in the first innings and played catch up from there on. India, in reply, declared their innings on 347 for 9 before bowling out the opposition for just 195 to wrap up the game.
